3/31/20 - Pandemic Won’t Stop Me

Well this was unexpected. I had not planned for a pandemic during the last part of my filmmaking process and senior year, yet here we are.  Everything about coronavirus hit so fast it was hard to process  Losing Fuse was probably the toughest blow.  All year when I had been working on this I had pictured it in my head premiering at the museum, so I felt a little lost when that was cancelled.

But after taking some time (about 2o minutes) to wrap my head around things I decided that I can make a positive out of a negative situation and just focus on this film's life beyond Fuse, which is probably more important in the long run anyways.  I'm going to try my best to find an audience online as well as submit to as many festivals as I possibly can.  The day after Fuse was cancelled I released a trailer stating that I would still complete my film by April 25th.  One reason I did this was to help reach more people online, but the main reason was just to still hold myself accountable.  There's no reason my film shouldn't be done by then if I keep working, and I'm still excited to share it!  Check out my trailer and a clip from the middle of my film below!
